that hospitalizations or patients with complex issues may disrupt
our schedule.
- We will always try to give you
the opportunity to see the physician you prefer.
- We will explain as clearly as
possible your diagnosis and treatment options. Please ask if you
do not understand any directions.
- We offer handouts on specific
problems to help inform and educate you about your child’s health.

How You Can Best Help Your Child
The ultimate responsibility for your child’s health lies with you. You
can help us in providing the best care for your child by:
- Learning about your child’s health. We
may suggest changes at home and in your lifestyle. We know these
changes are not easy, so we suggest learning as much as possible so we
may work with you on any problems.
- Letting us know as much as possible during your
visit. Keep a journal if necessary.
- Asking questions. Do not hesitate to ask about
your child. The better you understand the problem, the easier it is
for everyone.
- Calling 24 hours in advance if you have to cancel
an
appointment.
- Understanding your financial obligations. Each
insurance company’s policies are different. We work with a number of
insurance firms, and our billing office will submit claims, on your
behalf, to the insurance companies with which we participate. For more
information, click here.
